With a warm baritone that moves from near-spoken stillness to full-chested declaration, the album traces one soul's passage from the first crack in the armor through the shedding of every performance, the return to the boy he left in the yard, and the thawing of a lifetime of frozen wanting, into the unshakable presence of the witness - and finally to the door that was never a curtain. Drawing from tantra, simulation philosophy, and the quiet electricity of restraint, each song is both confession and declaration - sparse enough for a midnight drive, vast enough to fill a concert hall.
